Kirkkoharju Café with its observation tower is a resting place high on a ridge, offering a stunning view to the north over Vesijärvi, to the east over the church tower towards Kuohunharju, and to the
south over Kirkkojärvi all the way to Roine.

The plateau on the ridge has been a traditional gathering place known as 'Helaanmäki.' Even today, this magnificent area attracts people to enjoy outdoor activities, well-being, and socializing. A
diverse network of outdoor trails starts from Kirkkoharju, making it an excellent starting point for exploring nearby attractions.

The café, open year-round, offers a carefully prepared selection of delicious cakes, fresh doughnuts, filled sandwiches, croissants, smoothies, lunch soups, and, of course, ice cream in the summer.
Gluten-free options are also available. The high-quality coffee and tea selection invites visitors to sit on the terrace and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Kirkkoharju has an observation tower built in the 1930s in a functionalism style, offering breathtaking views of the Finnish national landscape. The tower is open during the café's hours, and
entrance is free.

The nearest parking spots are 450m away from the café, and the rest of the way can be covered on foot either via the road or by stairs. You can also reach the location from Tampere by buses (lines 40
and 41).
